There is much sexual liberalism going on at the moment and growing curiosity about sexual experimentation. A, perhaps surprisingly, large part of this also applies to BDSM practices. That is Bondage, Discipline, Sadism and Masochism. This particular communal thing is increasingly permeating everyone's standard sex life to varying degrees. But who are the people that actually live this lifestyle, and who are icons in their community?
The photo series RAW captures the protagonists of the Czech BDSM community from the younger middle generation in their natural environment. These are people who are well-known in their specific community. Through the photographs, I look into their lives and capture their pleasures, hobbies, and lusts - their world as it truly is.
